Owner names are entered as they appear on the deed or other legal document presented for transfer. For example, if the deed reads JOSEPH JONES and you search for JOE JONES you may not find the property you are searching.
The Parcel Number is a numeric or alphanumeric string of characters that uniquely identifies a property record. In Hamilton County most parcel numbers are 13 characters long. Your parcel number can be found on your tax bill or most other correspondence mailed to you from the Auditor's office.
To Search by Parcel Number, all or part of the number can be entered. Search Results will be returned for all partial matches of the entered number. A specific property can be selected from the search results.
To search for a specific Parcel Number, enter all 13 characters.
For individuals, enter last name followed by first name (for example, Doe John)
Incomplete or partial entries are ok (for example, Doe J)
Uppercase or lowercase allowed (Doe J is the same as DOE J)
For best results: type street name only, (without ST,DR,CT suffix). Example: Maple
For exact searches, you may enter the house number in the Low field and leave the High field empty.
For a range of houses on a street, enter low and high numbers (1000-1500 Brown, for example, yields a whole block).
